Managing the energy usage and spending for your business becomes a whole lot easier and smarter when you use the Direct Energy Business Login portal also called “MyAccount”. From easy ways to pay your invoices, to detailed usage and easy access to customer support, MyAccount puts everything you need right at your fingertips. It’s easy to sign up and easy to use and it comes included with every Direct Energy Business account.

MyAccount allows you to quickly and easily keep track of all of your account details. Track your usage, view your invoices and review your payments for one or all of your accounts. You can also use tools like Usage and Spend Alerts to keep track of unusual account activity, or set up reports to track your contract performance, monthly spend, usage and more.

The ‘Accounts’ dropdown allows you to select ‘all’ or a specific individual account to view detailed information about. If you have multiple customers, you can also switch between them via the ‘Customers’ dropdown.

MyAccount retains records of all your invoices and payments. On the ‘Invoices’ tab, you can view your invoices and payments, download copies of your invoices, send invoices to others, and create Excel reports of your invoice/payment history.

Direct Energy Business Login Steps

The Direct Energy Business customer portal offers enhanced functionality, along with all of the detailed reporting capabilities you need to manage your energy usage and costs.

Note: The online features are only available for customers with online account. If you are a new user, go to https://myaccount.directenergy.com/Account/Register to register for online access to your account. Otherwise follow the steps below to access your Direct Energy account.

To sign in, go to https://myaccount.directenergy.com/

  1. In email, type the email address that you selected when you signed up for online account.
  2. In Password, type your password.
  3. Click Log In.

How To Make Your Direct Energy Business Electricity Payments

Direct Energy Business offers easy and free bill payment through MyAccount. The following step-by-step instructions will help guide you through making a one-time payment or setting up and managing auto-payments.

Making electricity payments online

Once you’re logged into MyAccount, from the Home page:

  1. Click the green ‘Pay Invoices’ button next to your Electricity Summary balance.
  2. On the ‘Pay Invoices’ page you can select the accounts/invoices you would like to pay. A few important things to keep in mind.
    • Natural gas and electricity accounts must be processed in separate payments (i.e. you can’t pay them in the same transaction).
    • You can make payments on unpaid invoices but not paid ones. Any paid invoices will be listed with a “$0.00 amount due” and will not be selectable for making a payment.
    • Payments can be made for any account/invoice that is over $1.00 or under $200,000.00.
    • If you do not pay the full amount due on an invoice, that invoice will still display the original amount due however your total outstanding balance for all accounts will reflect any payments that you make.
    • You can view the payments you’ve made by navigating to the ‘Payment History’ link on the ‘Invoices’ tab.
  3. Review your selected invoices, submit your payment information, select a payment date, and authorize your payment. A few important things to keep in mind:
    • Online payments can be scheduled for tomorrow’s date or later. If you want to make a payment on today’s date, you can pay over the phone by calling 888.925.9115.
    • You can edit your payment amount by clicking ‘Pay Other Amount.’ This will give you the option to pay ‘different amounts’ on each of your selected accounts/invoices.
    • After you submit a payment with your bank information for the first time, your bank information will be saved and available to select when you’re making online payments in the future.
    • All payments submitted through MyAccount and over the phone are processed by Speedpay, our payment processing partner.
  4. After you submit a payment, you will see a confirmation screen with your selected accounts, payment information and a confirmation number(s). Keep in mind that:
    • Speedpay will process your payment.
    • To confirm that Speedpay has processed your payment, please check your bank statement.

How To Make Your Direct Energy Business Natural Gas Payments

Direct Energy Business offers easy and free bill payment through MyAccount. The following step-by-step instructions will help guide you through making a one-time payment or setting up and managing auto-payments for your natural gas account(s).

Making Gas Payments Online

Once you’re logged into MyAccount, from your home page:

  1. Click the green ‘Pay Invoices’ button next to your Natural Gas Summary balance.
  2. On the ‘Pay Invoices’ page you can select the Group IDs/accounts you would like to pay.
    A few things to keep in mind:
