What is the GCU Portal?
The GCU portal houses student account information. From here, you can change your personal information, access your LMS classroom, view your financial information, access your student email, and much more!
Having access to GCU Student Portal Login will enable you to do the following below.
- The students can view their attendance performance via the portal.
- The students can access the LoudCloud classroom.
- The students can view their counsellor information.
- Students can view their results on the GCU Portal.
- Recent updates and notifications about the Grand Canyon University can also be viewed through the portal.
- Students can get notified about their personal status on the platform of the GCU Student Portal.
Grand Canyon University also has portals for faculty members, where the teaching faculties can access their accounts enjoying some benefits in imparting various courses and can get updated about their personal & professional details as per the university administration.
How To Set Up Your Account on the GCU Portal
To set up your account, navigate to the GCU Portal and select Student Access. You should have received an email with your GCU email address and a temporary password. Enter that email address and password, and then follow the prompts to set up password recovery options.

Once your account is set up, the next step is exploring your GCU Portal and becoming familiar with all the information and resources it provides. From the GCU Portal, you have access to a wealth of information, including links to your courses, your counselor’s contact information, learning resources, and your student email.

The GCU Student Portal serves as a hub for almost any resource you could need at Grand Canyon University. Inside the GCU Portal homepage, you can access your LoudCloud classroom, view your counselor information, check your GCU email, and much more!

Before you enjoy the above benefits you must first have an account with Grand Canyon University and must be logged in, follow the instructions below to login to your online account.

Step 1: Open the web browser from your computer or laptop and visit gcuportal.gcu.edu.
Step 2: Select the Student Access option from the list of University Portal login.
Step 3: Once on the login page, enter your GCU email address ([email protected]) and password.
Next, you will be prompted to choose an account type, select work or school account.
How To Set Up Your Student Email
Accessing and setting up your student email is important to communicate with your classmates and instructor. Once you have access to your email, you can download and install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for free! This special offer, which gives you access to the latest Office programs, is available while you are an active student with GCU.
How To Access Your Courses
Once your email is set up, you will be ready to access your courses! The GCU Portal provides direct access to all of your active courses from the My Courses section of the home page. Clicking the link to your course will take you into the learning management system (LMS) that houses your class.
Just like in traditional classes, it’s important to introduce yourself to your classmates. You can let your fellow students and your instructor know a little bit about yourself by posting to the Class Introductions. Many of Grand Canyon University courses also have eBooks; however, not all courses have eBooks, so make sure to check Canyon Connect for your specific course!
